ATLANTA (August 22, 2011) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell has been ranked as one of the Top 100 trademark law firms by filing volume for 2010 in a joint report on top trademark services firms and corporate filers published by Corporation Service Company® (CSC®) and World Trademark Review.
A successor to CSC’s Trademark Insider annual feature, the report was prepared using public trademark filings data from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and reviewed by CSC’s trademark team. SGR’s ranking reflects the growth in its trademark practice not only in the number of filings, but also in the number of companies whose trademark portfolios are managed by the firm.
The report, appearing in the August/September issue of World Trademark Review, ranks the 100 leading trademark practitioners, provides insight into trademark filing activity and offers an analysis of intellectual property trends.
Corporation Service Company, a privately held service organization founded in 1899, provides domain portfolio strategy, management and recovery services for global brands; matter management, corporate compliance and trustee services for companies and law firms worldwide; and due diligence and transactional services for the world’s largest financial institutions.
World Trademark Review, part of The IP Media Group, is the world’s only independent multimedia publication dedicated to reporting on trademark issues for trademark lawyers internationally.
