NEW YORK (September 30, 2010) — Smith, Gambrell & Russell attorney David L. Fox has been certified as an arbitrator by the AIDA Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society(ARIAS- U.S), making him one of 246 ARIAS-U.S. Certified Arbitrators according to the current issue of ARIAS-U.S. Quarterly magazine.

Mr. Fox focuses the majority of his practice on litigation for insurance companies in claims against other insurers, reinsurers, general agents, claims administrators, liquidators and regulators. He also handles non-insurance claims for breach of contract, conversion, breach of fiduciary duties, unfair competition, tortious interference and fraudulent conveyance, as well as advises insurers on a wide range of business, regulatory and transactional issues.

Mr. Fox is an experienced litigator in the federal and state courts in New York and has successfully litigated matters as pro hac vice counsel in other jurisdictions. He has served as lead counsel in trials and arbitrations on a variety of commercial litigation matters.
