ATLANTA (February 18, 2009) — Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to its partnership.
The new partners are:
Colin R.P. Delaney — Mr. Delaney is a partner in the firm’s Litigation section in the Atlanta office. His practice covers a broad range of commercial litigation, including real estate-related disputes, trade secrets matters, debtor/creditor litigation, and all manner of contract cases in state and federal courts, bankruptcy courts, and before arbitration panels. Mr. Delaney has gained the most experience in aviation-related litigation and pre-litigation dispute resolution, in which he has represented commercial airlines, owners of aviation assets, and maintenance facilities. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2000 and his Bachelor’s from Tufts University in 1997. After law school, Mr. Delaney served as judicial law clerk to the Hon. Danny Boggs of the Sixth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and has spent his entire career practicing law with Smith, Gambrell & Russell.
Scott S. Gallagher — Mr. Gallagher is a partner in the firm’s Jacksonville office. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, insurance litigation, creditor’s rights litigation, construction litigation and real estate and condominium litigation. Mr. Gallagher received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University in 1996 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 2000. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the United States District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
