ATLANTA — (November 26, 2008) — Governor Sonny Perdue appointed SGR Partner, David J. Burge, as Consumer Member of the Georgia Real Estate Commission today.

Burge practices commercial real estate law and is a past chairman of both the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Real Estate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Burge is a board member of the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority and the Atlanta Area Boy Scout Council. Burge earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a law degree from the University of North Carolina.
