ATLANTA (January 10, 2008) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP paralegal Lorna Virts has been selected as one of twelve Paralegal Superstars by ParalegalGateway.com, an online community for individuals within the paralegal profession. Lorna Virts is a senior paralegal in SGR’s Air Transportation Industry Group where she assists in transactions involving aircraft finance, leasing and acquisitions. Ms. Virts began her career as a Legal Specialist and Court Reporter in the United States Army, having received her training in court reporting and paralegal studies at the Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island, where she graduated with the highest honors. Ms. Virts joined SGR in 1995 and worked in the Commercial and Bankruptcy Law section until 2003. She returned to SGR in 2007.
