FRANKFURT, Germany (Sept. 1, 2007) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell LLP announces the relocation of its European office to central Wiesbaden in the greater Frankfurt area.

The new address is Sonnenberger Strasse 60, 65193 Wiesbaden, Germany.

The European office is part of SGR’s international law practice, which assists foreign companies in setting up and maintaining subsidiaries within the U.S. The office assists European companies with legal matters related to international trade, franchising, immigration and intellectual property.

The new location in the heart of the Wiesbaden business district provides the firm with greater visibility in the city. The office faces Kurpark, a picturesque city park. It is also near the Kurhaus, a major international convention center and historic landmark, as well as the upscale Wilhelmstrasse shopping mile.

The office is headed by SGR partner Stefan Tiessen, a native of Germany. Fluent in English, German and French, Mr. Tiessen is the author of the German-language business book, “Doing Business in the United States.”
