Last Thursday, the Energy Resources Division of the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority issued a request for proposals from potential service providers to “develop, implement, and fully execute GEFA’s ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate Program.” A total of $9,293,000 was allocated to the program. Although the program is funded by the Stimulus Bill, it requires matching funds from a non-federal source. Proposals are due to GEFA by 4:00 p.m. on September 30, 2009.
