SGR’s Steve O’Day, partner and head of the Environmental Law, Energy, and Sustainability practices, will speak at the Southeast Renewable Energy Summit. The Conference will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina November 16 – 18, 2021. Mr. O’Day’s panel, “Progress on Georgia Renewable Energy Policy and Potential for Future Growth,” will be held on November 16 as part of the Executive Briefing.
Steve O’Day was a co-author and principal negotiator of Georgia’s Solar Power Free-Market Financing Act of 2015 (HB 57) and is a co-author of SB 299, currently pending in the Georgia General Assembly, which would provide additional openings for distributed solar generation in Georgia.
