Ms. Okeani represents and advises clients on their diverse needs in the areas of civil litigation, ERISA litigation, and employment law.
Ms. Okeani earned her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law where she served as an editor for Duke Law Journal, Vice President of Mentorship for Duke Women Law Students Association, and was a member of Duke’s Black Law Students Association. During law school she was a Law Clerk for Duke University’s Office for Institutional Equity, a Student Lawyer with Duke Children’s Law Clinic, and a Clinic Intern and Research Assistant at Duke Law Civil Justice Clinic.
Ms. Okeani graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Georgia. While attending UGA, she was an Honors Teaching Assistant for The University of Georgia Honors Program, a Policy Coordinator for the Roosevelt Institute at UGA, a member of UGA’s African Student Union, and a Crane Leadership Scholar. Ms. Okeani also spent a semester studying law and international affairs as an associate member of Keble College at the University of Oxford. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and the Blue Key National Honor Society. She also interned for Cobb County Board of Commissioners and Cobb County Superior Court.
