Ms. Mahaffy’s practice focuses on assisting clients in a wide range of labor and employment law matters. She represents and advises employers on labor and employment compliance and claims involving employment discrimination, wage and hour, employment contracts, and unfair labor practices.
Ms. Mahaffy received her B.S., cum laude, in Political Science from Florida State University. She went on to earn her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, Ms. Mahaffy served as the Executive Forum Editor of the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy, the Vice President of Administrative Affairs for the John Marshall Bar Association, and a Teaching Assistant for Trial Advocacy.
Ms. Mahaffy is a member of the Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Florida.
Outside of the office, Ms. Mahaffy likes to spend her time traveling. Born and raised in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, she enjoys spending weekends at the beach with friends and family.
