Prior to joining Smith Gambrell & Russell, Deborah was an attorney for many years at Ingram LLP. She has also worked as a staff attorney at a well-known real estate investment trust.

  • Represents large institutional commercial and residential property owner/manager in transactions involving purchases of multi-family residential apartment complexes, office buildings and industrial warehouse space throughout the country, financing of such acquisitions through direct loans or assumptions of existing loans (including HUD loans), refinancing of existing properties, leasing of office and other commercial space and disposition of properties.
  • Represents food service company in negotiation of restaurant and production/warehouse leases.
  • Represents various small and mid-size companies and investment firms in mortgage financings and leasing.
  • Represented major accounting/consulting firm in leasing matters including leases, subleases, licenses, termination agreements and in the evaluation of leased real property and assumption of such leases as part of asset purchase transactions.
