Full Bio
Don Boyle believes that all disputes require strategic thinking and close attention to detail. Whether it’s a consolidated case with hundreds of plaintiffs, a bitter “business divorce,” or a short bench trial in Magistrate Court, he relies on his broad experience to craft the right approach to the problem.
Don has litigated matters for over 35 years in state and federal courts and is admitted to practice in Georgia and Virginia. He has covered all aspects of litigation, at the trial level and on appeal. His caseload has included patent license and infringement disputes, debtor-creditor and other commercial cases, and environmental litigation.
Don has an AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Since 2004, he has served on the Georgia Bar Journal as a member of its Editorial Board and contributor of articles and book reviews. Don served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal from 2007 to 2010. He has devoted substantial time to Bar activities, starting as statewide chair of Court Docent Programs in Virginia as a young lawyer. Don also lectures and writes on commercial and appellate litigation topics, including on the Georgia Appellate Law blog, which tracks developments in Georgia appellate law.
Don received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1984, graduating summa cum laude in English. He received his J.D. degree from William & Mary Law School in 1989, where he served on the Board of Editors of the William & Mary Law Review.
