SGR Attorneys Named Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

ATLANTA (February 23, 2009) — Twelve Smith, Gambrell & Russell attorneys were selected as Georgia Super Lawyers for 2009. In addition, eight of the firm’s attorneys have been named by Super Lawyers as 2009 Rising Stars, top attorneys in the state who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.

Super Lawyers are chosen by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics magazine. The selection process includes a statewide survey of thousands of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by an attorney-led research staff, and a peer review of candidates. The top five percent of lawyers, from nearly 70 practice areas, are named to the Super Lawyers list. The list of Georgia Super Lawyers appears in the March 2008 issue of Atlanta Magazine.
