Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP will host hundreds of international trademark professionals at an evening reception, art exhibit and firm history presentation on May 3, 2004. More than 7,000 attendees will be in Atlanta for the 126th International Trademark Association (INTA) annual conference taking place May 1-5.
On display will be photographs and notable documents from Smith, Gambrell & Russell’s 111-year history, historic Atlanta photographs and a presentation related to the numerous firm mergers that have created the Smith, Gambrell & Russell of today. The historic Atlanta photographs, on display from the archives division of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, highlight landmark metro-Atlanta areas from the 1870s — 1950s. Some of the items from the Smith, Gambrell & Russell collection date from late the 1890s to the 1970s and include correspondence, pleadings, ledger books, City of Atlanta tax receipts, articles and stock books.
