SGR Attorneys Named 2011 Georgia Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

ATLANTA (February 24, 2011) -- Ten Smith, Gambrell & Russell attorneys were selected as Georgia Super Lawyers for 2011. In addition, Super Lawyers has chosen six of the firm's attorneys as 2011 Rising Stars, top attorneys in the state who are 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for ten years or less.

Super Lawyers are chosen by their peers and through the independent research at Super Lawyers, a service of the Thomson Reuters, Legal division. The multi-phase selection process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area and a good-standing and disciplinary check. The top five percent of lawyers, from nearly 70 practice areas, are named to the Super Lawyers list. The list of Georgia Super Lawyers appears in the March 2011 issues of Atlanta magazine and Georgia Super Lawyers magazine.
