Counsel, Nine New Associates Join SGR

ATLANTA (September 17, 2008) — Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP is pleased to announce that Thomas G. Wiseman has joined the firm’s Washington, D.C. office as Counsel and nine new associates have joined the firm’s Atlanta office.

Thomas G. Wiseman is Counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property section, concentrating in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Baltimore in 1982, his Master of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1971 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Long Island University in 1969. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia.

Alison A. Drane is an associate in the Real Estate section of the firm. Ms. Drane is a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. She graduated from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude with Highest Honors, in Risk Management and Insurance.

Sara Catherine Barnhart Fletcher, an associate practicing in the Corporate section, graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. In 2005 she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude with Highest Honors, in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Georgia.

Michael R. Granims is an associate in the Corporate section. Mr. Granims attended the New England School of Law and Boston College Law School where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Westfield State College in 1998.

Kelley Bowden Gray is an associate practicing in the Real Estate section whose practice is primarily devoted to zoning and land use law. Ms. Gray earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Business Administration from Oglethorpe University in 2003.

Lauren M. Hayter is an associate in the Litigation section of the firm. She attended Georgetown University Law Center where she received a Juris Doctor degree in 2008. Ms. Hayter earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Political Science and Spanish from Louisiana State University in 2005.

Cylinda C. Parga is an associate practicing in the firm’s Corporate section. Ms. Parga earned her Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 2008 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Texas A&M University in 1997.

Nicholas J. Roecker is an associate in the Corporate section whose practice is primarily devoted to Bankruptcy. Mr. Roecker earned his Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2008. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, cum laude, in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2005.

Jared S. Westbroek is an associate in the Real Estate section, focusing on Environmental law. Mr. Westbroek graduated from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Law and Constitutional Studies from Utah State University in 2005.

Christopher D. Yarbrough, an associate in the Corporate section, earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. Mr. Yarbrough received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 2005.
