ATLANTA (February 15, 2008) — Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP partner Tim Bumann was recently sworn-in as Judge Pro Tem of the Municipal Court of Monticello. Jasper County Probate Judge, Linda Mock, presided over the swearing-in ceremony on January 22.

Mr. Bumann will be hearing warrant applications, conducting arraignments and trying non-jury cases while serving on the bench.

Mr. Bumann specializes in the areas of Product Liability Defense and Equine Law. He received his B.S. degree from Georgia Southern College and his J.D. from Georgia State University. Her served in the United States Coast Guard from 1976 — 1983. Mr. Bumann lives in Jasper County with his wife Karan where they breed and show Paint and Pinto horses.
