ATLANTA (March 8, 2017) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Stephen Forte has been selected to serve on the Best Lawyers® Advisory Board.

Steve Forte is the Managing Partner and Chairman of the Executive Committee of SGR. In this role, he oversees the strategic growth and direction of the firm by cultivating strong relationships with clients and the community. As a leader, Mr. Forte understands the importance of being connected to the business community in order to develop a strategy for the anticipated business needs of the firm’s clients. He has always been active with attorney recruiting and the professional development of young attorneys. With more than 35 years of legal experience, Mr. Forte has maintained an active litigation practice in addition to his leadership responsibilities. He has been recognized in Chambers USA as one of the outstanding commercial litigators in the country and a dynamic trial attorney, noted in the Best Lawyers in America and selected by Georgia Super Lawyers for Commercial Litigation. In addition, Mr. Forte currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and Central Atlanta Progress.
