Join Joe Mandarino and A.J. Rollins for a webinar entitled, “Understanding the New Tax Rules That Will Change Every LLC and Partnership.” While much attention is on the 2017 tax reform package enacted recently, the IRS has been slowly implementing a new set of tax audit rules that will impact almost every partnership and LLC as part of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. These rules fundamentally change the way partnerships and LLCs will be audited, can result in significant entity-level liability, and can change the economics of these entities and their owners. The rules apply starting January 1, 2018. Over the past year, the IRS has issued four lengthy sets of proposed regulations that spell out how the new rules will apply. This seminar will provide an overview of the new rules, highlight several problem areas and review ways to head off issues. The seminar will also cover some pitfalls that can be easily avoided by acting early.
