Ms. Yoon practices corporate law in the Firm’s Atlanta office and nationally. Ms. Yoon represents both domestic and international clients in a variety of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, secured transactions, joint ventures, corporate formation, corporate governance and compliance, commercial transactions and general corporate matters. Ms. Yoon performs due diligence, drafts and reviews transactional documents and guides international companies in establishing businesses in the U.S.
Ms. Yoon joined SGR as a summer associate. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Yoon was a summer associate at Dentons and an accounting assistant at Morgan & Morgan PA. Ms. Yoon received her bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University where she made the Dean’s List.
Ms. Yoon earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University in Saint Louis School of Law where she concentrated study in business law. She acquired JD Certificate in Business & Corporate Law by achieving the advanced training needed to become a well-versed business lawyer and a robust understanding of fundamental aspects of business and corporate law. Ms. Yoon also worked as a legal intern at the Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project (MICA Project) through Lawyering Practice Externship program at the law school. Ms. Yoon served as President of the law school’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and Community Service Chair of the law school’s Animal Law Society. She also served as a Staff Editor on the Global Studies Law Review. Outside of law school, she served as a student member Missouri Asian American Bar Association (MAABA) and Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL).
In her free time, Ms. Yoon enjoys golfing with her husband, baking, swimming and traveling with her family and dog, Mocha. Ms. Yoon is bilingual and bicultural in Korean.
