Noah is a Patent Agent in the BioTech & Chemical Patent Team at SGR. In this role, he prosecutes patent portfolios while also providing a number of auxiliary services for clients of a variety of sizes in wide-ranging industries and applications. He serves companies and individuals ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies and strives to meet the unique needs of all. He has experience with technologies focusing on small molecules, antisense oligonucleotides, antibodies, cell therapies, functionalized nanoparticles (both synthetic and bio-derived), polymers, chemical processes, chemical synthesis, organic chemistry, hydraulics, combustion-driven systems, mechanical devices, medical devices, and manufacturing processes.

Noah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Bimolecular Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with High Honors. He continued on to earn a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering also at Georgia Tech. His Capstone Project during his undergraduate resulted in a full, ground-up design of a chemical plant (including heat integration, safety features, etc.) for synthesis of bio-derived fuels starting from a natural feedstock. The final design was proven possible by industry experts and shown to be profitable.

While earning his B.S., Noah also participated in an internship as an Application Engineer at Control Southern, Inc., where he designed customized automation systems to optimize chemical delivery in a variety of processes. In this role, he worked directly with industry-leading companies including, but not limited to, NASA, Eastman Chemical Company, Georgia Power, and others to design pressure control systems for a variety of chemical flows, considering many factors, such as the compatibility of chemicals with valves, piping, etc. During his M.S., Noah worked part-time with SGR as a Patent Science Advisor, engaging clients in the BioTech field. Since then, Noah has been admitted to practice as a Patent Agent with the United States Patent & Trademark Office. Noah is currently a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and plans on becoming a Patent Attorney.
