Vishruth R. Singireddy
About Vishruth
Vishruth's practice centers on patent prosecution for technologies in electrical engineering and computer science, where he drafts and prosecutes applications designed to secure commercially meaningful protection. He works closely with inventors and in-house teams to translate complex technical concepts into enforceable patent claims. His litigation support experience includes legal research and analysis for patent disputes in both Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings and Federal District Court, giving him insight into how patents perform under challenge. This perspective informs his prosecution strategy, helping clients build portfolios that withstand scrutiny.
Before joining Smith Gambrell & Russell, Vishruth worked at UGA Innovation Gateway, where he gained experience in technology transfer and intellectual property agreements. There, he collaborated with researchers across life sciences and engineering disciplines, helping move early-stage technologies from the lab toward commercialization.
Vishruth is committed to expanding access to legal resources and innovation through his pro bono work. He has helped Georgia-based inventors pursue and protect their innovations through his externship with Georgia PATENTS. He also served as a student attorney in the Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic at the University of Georgia School of Law, where he represented survivors of domestic violence in protective order proceedings, working directly with clients, preparing cases, and advocating on their behalf in court.
