Tiffany Torchia is an Associate in the Global Transport Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Tiffany supports clients in aviation matters primarily including the purchase, sale, leasing, and financing of aircraft and aircraft engines.
Tiffany’s interest in aviation and international law stems from vast international experience during her legal education. Aside from being the International Law Center’s Student Researcher, Tiffany studied abroad in Belgium and the Netherlands as a part of the law school’s Global Governance Summer School program focusing on human rights and space law. Thereafter, Tiffany was on the Executive Board of the Moot Court team and competed in New York and Austria in the William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Finally, Tiffany completed a Global Externship Overseas, where she worked for the Data Privacy Commissioner of Bermuda gaining valuable public international experience in data privacy, legislative work, and regulatory matters.
Tiffany grew up in Augusta, Georgia, and is a two-time honor graduate of the University of Georgia. During her time in Athens, she earned her B.A. in Communication Studies, summa cum laude, and her J.D. from the School of Law, cum laude. While attending law school, Tiffany served as the first Student Researcher for the Dean Rusk International Law Center, as the Teaching Assistant for a legal writing course, and as Vice President of the Dean’s Ambassadors.
