A business-minded attorney, Patrick grew up in a small business, studied business, worked at a startup, and is an active angel investor, advisor, and mentor. He deeply understands his clients’ pain points and actively works to connect his entrepreneur and venture clients with appropriate lawyers within the firm. Patrick’s style of practice is to be his clients’ trusted advisor, confidant, and advocate. He deeply values treating his clients and counterparts as humans and with dignity, patience, and respect. As a result, he gets complicated deals done with less stress and more joy.
Patrick received a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University in Management with high distinction and earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law. He also attended the University of Oxford for their Honors Program.
Before joining SGR, he worked for over a decade in the highly-rated real estate departments of international AmLaw 100 law firms. Then for several years, he thrived in a preeminent real estate boutique in New York City.
In a former life, he was a Division I soccer player and is a member of his high school’s athletic hall of fame. He’s an avid (obsessive?) reader across a broad range of subjects and is deeply passionate about having an impact in the world and leveling the playing field for all people.
