Jonathan Roffe is an experienced commercial litigator and regularly represents businesses and professionals in state and federal court. Mr. Roffe has served as litigation counsel for corporate clients in complex business and commercial matters involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, intellectual property (copyright, trademark and unfair competition), real estate, and labor and employment.
In addition to representing clients in courtroom settings, Mr. Roffe also regularly drafts and negotiates customized business agreements and assists clients manage and develop their respective intellectual property portfolios.
Mr. Roffe has been selected to Super Lawyers – Rising Star each year from 2016 through 2021. Only 2.5% of attorneys in the New York metropolitan area receive this distinction.
Mr. Roffe has also provided pro bono services to artists and designers throughout the New York – Metropolitan area, through his work with the nonprofit, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in New York.
Mr. Roffe received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2014 where he was named an Intellectual Property & Information Colloquium Scholar. During law school, Mr. Roffe clerked for the Honorable William H. Walls of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
