Jonathan C. Roffe is an Associate in the Litigation Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Mr. Roffe is an experienced commercial litigator and regularly represents businesses and professionals in state and federal court. He has served as litigation counsel for corporate clients in complex business and commercial matters with particular focus on breach of contract, intellectual property disputes (copyright, trademark and unfair competition), labor and employment claims, fraudulent conveyance claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, business defamation and the breach of non-compete agreements.
In addition to representing clients in courtroom settings, Mr. Roffe also handles all matters necessary for clients, from drafting and negotiating customized business agreements, to overseeing the management and development of clients’ intellectual property portfolio.
Mr. Roffe has been selected to Super Lawyers – Rising Star each year from 2016 through 2019. Only 2.5% of attorneys in the New York metropolitan area receive this distinction.
Mr. Roffe received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2014 where he was named an Intellectual Property & Information Colloquium Scholar. During law school, Mr. Roffe clerked for the Honorable William H. Walls of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
