Dexterrie C. Ramirez is an Associate in the Real Estate Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Ms. Ramirez’s practice primarily focuses on residential condo unit transfers and sponsor unit sales. She also represents buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of residential and commercial properties as well as all other aspects of a real estate transaction, including financing and resolving title issues. As part of her practice, Ms. Ramirez also assists developers and property owners in the negotiation of access or license agreements involving the protections required for adjoining properties during pre-construction, demolition, excavation and construction.
Prior to joining SGR, she worked as part of a team of attorneys who successfully negotiated the terms and conditions of a Queens hospital and parking garage and several Brooklyn warehouses and new condominium developments. Ms. Ramirez previously served as a judicial intern at the Chambers of the Honorable Lottie E. Wilkins in the New York State Supreme Court.
Ms. Ramirez received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her J.D. degree from the City University of New York School of Law.
She previously worked as Pro Bono Attorney for Project Restore at the New York County Lawyer’s Association and successfully represented individuals with misdemeanor and felony convictions who were denied vocational licenses by the New York Department of State and obtain their licenses.
