Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. McFerren served two years as a law clerk for the Honorable R. Stan Baker of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

Mr. McFerren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, he served on the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review and as a research assistant in the Alexander Campbell King Law Library. Mr. McFerren was the recipient of the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Public International Law. Upon graduation, Mr. McFerren was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
