Ms. Lamphere has experience representing publicly traded corporations, local businesses, insurance carriers, and individuals in insurance coverage litigation, contract disputes, real estate disputes, unfair trade practices, premises liability, noncompetition, and utilities regulation.
Prior to Freeborn, Ms. Lamphere was a Litigation Associate at Phelps Dunbar LLP where she drafted legal memoranda, pleadings, evidentiary and dispositive motions, and appellate briefs. She additionally managed case files, including researching complex areas of law, analyzing implications of contractual provisions, developing litigation strategy, and more.
Ms. Lamphere received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School.
Represented an electric utility before a state public service commission for authorization of $1 billion asset acquisition.
Obtained injunction preventing trade secrets violations in breach of client’s licensing agreement.
Secured dismissal of breach of lease claims against publicly traded corporation, which was affirmed by state appellate court.
Assisted in obtaining injunction against corporation claiming patent infringement and final judgment invalidating corporation’s patents, which was upheld by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
