Mr. Gostel practices in the area of civil litigation focusing on medical and professional liability defense, employment and labor disputes, business litigation, and insurance defense. Before joining SGR in 2021, he practiced at another law firm where he handled a variety of civil litigation matters, including construction disputes, business litigation, general and product liability claims, and employment and labor disputes.
Mr. Gostel earned his Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he served as the Executive and Submissions Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and as a Georgetown Law Student Ambassador. Additionally, Mr. Gostel was formerly a judicial intern at the New York Supreme Court and a legal intern at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Criminology and Law with a minor in Jewish Studies from the University of Florida.
Mr. Gostel is a member of the Florida Bar and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.
