Mr. De Los Reyes’s practice concentrates in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality law, specializing in employment and family based immigration and management of global workforce mobility programs for multinational corporations.
Throughout his practice, Mr. De Los Reyes has represented institutional clients from leading Fortune 500 companies to startup ventures across a diverse range of industries, including retail and e-commerce, consulting, food, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, entertainment and media, logistics and transportation, insurance, finance and banking, manufacturing, and museums and academic institutions, among others. Mr. De Los Reyes has successfully assisted clients in obtaining non-immigrant visas for H-1B Specialty Occupation Professionals, L-1 Intracompany Transferees, E-1/E-2 Treaty Traders and Investors, TN NAFTA professionals, F-1 Students, J-1 Exchange Visitors, B-1/B-2 Temporary Visitors, and O-1 Extraordinary Ability Individuals. He also has extensive experience with immigrant visas and legal permanent residency (green card) applications, including successfully guiding clients through the PERM permanent labor certification process and filing of immigrant petitions and applications for adjustment of status. He also assists clients with obtaining naturalization and citizenship. In addition, he provides legal counsel to businesses on I-9 employment verification compliance.
In addition to his employment and family based immigration experience, Mr. De Los Reyes has also counseled clients in obtaining humanitarian relief in the form of Special Immigrant Visas for foreign nationals who assisted the U.S. Government during the Iraqi War and refugee applications for foreign nationals seeking to immigrate to the United States for fear of persecution on account of their gender/sexual orientation identity. He also represented clients before the NY Immigration Court in Cancellation of Removal (deportation) matters. As part of his legal practice, he routinely represents clients before the US Government, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of State.
Mr. De Los Reyes received his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2008. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in New York in 2014. During law school, he was an Associate Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal (2013-2014), a recipient of the IPLJ Research and Writing Award (2013) and a recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award (2014).
