SGR Partner Joyce Klemmer Joins Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section

J Klemmer

ATLANTA (July 14, 2017) – Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) is pleased to announce that Partner Joyce Klemmer has joined the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section. Ms. Klemmer also currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association Intellectual Property Section.

As one of the 22 sections of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Dispute Resolution Section educates, promotes, and supports a system that provides resolution of disputes outside of the formal judicial system through mediation and arbitration. This provides the means to avoid the cost and delay of litigation, relieving court congestion, providing a more effective or constructive resolution between disputing parties of a legal issue.

A Partner in SGR’s Intellectual Property Practice, Ms. Klemmer specializes in Intellectual Property litigation and protection of trademarks and copyrights. She is a past Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia and recently joined the Board of Directors of the Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS). Ms. Klemmer is also a member of Rochester Institute of Technology Board of Trustees, International Trademark Association and State Bar of Georgia.
