Doug Stein Joins SGR as Partner

ATLANTA (August 7, 2008) — The newest addition to Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP is Doug Stein who comes from a law firm in Michigan. Mr. Stein joins as partner in SGR’s Tax Section, where he is a member of the Estate Planning and Wealth Protection practice.

Mr. Stein’s expertise includes planned gift arrangements, onshore and offshore private placement life insurance and other innovative estate planning and business succession techniques. He was selected as a Best Lawyer in America and as a Michigan Rising Star in 2008. Mr. Stein received his B.A. from the University of Maryland and his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
