Trust The Leaders magazine is a valuable resource for clients, friends and colleagues of SGR. This award-winning magazine uses the expertise of our firm’s attorneys as authors in their respective practice areas. Articles are written in layman’s terms and provide the firm’s clients and business leaders with current legal information in an attractive, professional magazine. SGR is the first law firm in the Southeast to develop its own custom publication. Trust The Leaders was selected as the winner of the 2004 Burton Award for Outstanding Legal Publication.
Client Alerts
The SGR Client Alert is a news bulletin that is either mailed or emailed to our clients informing them of new laws, changes in the law and updates on important cases. We believe that part of our responsibility as a legal advisor is to keep our clients informed of new or changing laws potentially affecting their business.
SGR Educational Seminars and Forums
Our attorneys regularly provide timely seminars, on-site training and educational forums in several areas of the law. Recent topics include employment law, immigration law, construction law, Sarbanes-Oxley, state and local tax, trust and estate planning, land use and zoning and securities law.
Internal CLE Offerings
SGR attorneys often speak at an internal series of “lunch and learn” seminars held at our home office in Atlanta. Topics range from “Ethics in the Legal Profession” to “Representing the Issuer in a Public Finance Transaction.” We also provide continuing legal education in varied hourly increments. Currently, our seminars are offered to clients and our attorneys at no cost. SGR’s staff handles the administration related to receiving CLE credit for these sessions.
