Tom Rhodes is a Partner and heads the Firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
He has practiced antitrust and trade-regulation law on a national scale for more than 35 years.
Mr. Rhodes’s clients in that field have included airlines and producers of copper wire, buses, sporting goods, industrial machinery, medical devices, aluminum products, motor homes, construction products, agricultural products, paper, steel, ceramics, food products, automotive parts, juvenile products, and chemicals, as well as hospitals and trade and professional associations. Mr. Rhodes has been lead counsel in large antitrust cases and has handled the antitrust side of mergers and acquisitions. He represents a number of trade and professional associations as antitrust counsel or general counsel.
Mr. Rhodes is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in Antitrust Law, annually identified as one of the Georgia Super Lawyers and selected as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in antitrust by Chambers USA. He is also listed as a Leading Lawyer by the Practical Law Company for 2012. He is a Life Member of the American Law Institute.
Mr. Rhodes graduated from Davidson College in 1968 and the University of Virginia Law School in 1971.
