Mary L. Runkle
Mary L. Runkle is an Associate in the Corporate Practice of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Ms. Runkle’s practice concentrates on commercial and secured lending and representation of debtors, commercial lenders and other creditors in bankruptcy cases.
Ms. Runkle’s experience includes defending clients in a variety of complex litigated matters, particularly allegations of federal securities law violations. She also has experience in class actions, complex business litigation, consumer, securities, contract disputes, intellectual property, protection of trade secrets and proprietary information, product liability and toxic tort litigation, securities litigation, shareholder class actions, SEC and FINRA investigations and litigation and broker-dealer litigation and arbitration.
Ms. Runkle received her B.A., summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Vanderbilt University in 2005 and her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2008. Ms. Runkle is a member of the State Bar of New York and the Southern District of New York.
