He has experience in professional malpractice defense, general business litigation and product liability defense.
Mr. Coles has extensive experience representing hospitals and doctors across the state. He has worked for many years with clients such as OMS National Insurance Company, AAO Services Inc. and Hudson Insurance Group. Mr. Coles has been acknowledged as the Attorney of the Year for OMS National and has received numerous Continuing Excellence Awards from that company for his successful representation of oral and maxillofacial surgeons in Georgia and other states. In addition Mr. Coles has defended clients in product liability claims involving a range of products from surgically implanted devices to loading platforms to pellet guns.
In addition Mr. Coles regularly represents clients in commercial litigation matters. He has experience in both pursuing and defending claims for individuals and business entities in a broad range of commercial settings.
Mr. Coles received his B.A. degree in both political science and history from Emory University in 1984. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia in 1987, where he attended on a Milton Ratner School of Law Scholarship.
Mr. Coles is admitted to practice in Georgia and is a member of the American Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Association.
