John J. Lee
John J. Lee is a partner in the Litigation Department of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Mr. Lee focuses his practice on complex business litigation in a variety of areas, including antitrust and trade regulation, business torts, contracts, construction, intellectual property, products liability, and unfair competition and trade secrets. He represents domestic and foreign clients in cases in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels, and in domestic and international arbitration and mediation proceedings. Mr. Lee also represents clients before various regulatory agencies.
Mr. Lee joined the firm in 2008 as a partner. He received his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1993, where he was a Member and served as Articles Editor of the Iowa Law Review. Mr. Lee received his B.A. in Economics from the University of British Columbia in 1989.
Mr. Lee is a member of the bar of New York. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Sixth, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Western District of Michigan; and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
