Katharine F. Rowe
Katharine Rowe is a Partner and the section head of the Jacksonville office of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP’s Intellectual Property Practice Group.
Ms. Rowe advises clients in matters involving intellectual property (copyright and trademark), software and Internet technology, marketing, publishing, visual arts and licensing issues. She represents clients in varied fields, including insurance, finance, software development, real estate, product manufacturing and distribution, green products and services, restaurants, outdoor recreation, sports and travel, among other areas. Ms. Rowe handles trademark portfolios for many clients, and assists her clients in developing and implementing a global protection strategy.
Ms. Rowe is Chair of the Intellectual Property Section and the Computer Law and Technology Section of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Katharine Rowe received her B.A. degree in History and English Literature from the University of Michigan in 1980, where she was a James B. Angell Scholar. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1984, where she was an Edward Hennessey Scholar. Ms. Rowe is admitted to practice in New York and in Florida. She is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law in Florida.
