Mr. Kim assists public and private companies in a broad range of general corporate and transactional issues, including mergers, stock and asset sale and purchases, private equity investments, and other complex business transactions. Mr. Kim has also worked with both emerging companies and venture capital firms in all facets of capital raising transactions, including seed and angel financings, mezzanine financings, venture capital financings, leveraged acquisitions, and recapitalizations. Areas of particular emphasis for Mr. Kim include assisting Korean companies entering the U.S. market with their start-up operations and also through acquisitions and joint ventures.
Mr. Kim received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, in Political Science from The Ohio State University in 2000, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2004, where he served as Associate Editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution.
Mr. Kim is a native Korean speaker.
