He has broad experience in commercial real estate, representing both developers and lending institutions. Mr. Gill’s developer practice is presently concentrated in two areas: mixed-use properties and commercial condominium developments. Mr. Gill has extensive experience in drafting declarations for mixed-use developments, and has actively participated in the planning, operation and revitalization of such developments. In addition to representation of developers of office condominiums and residential communities, he has developed an active hospitality practice. He has long been active in transactional work for hotel owners and developers, and now devotes substantial time to the representation of clients in matters involving the conversion of conventional hotels into condominiums. Mr. Gill also regularly represents local and national lending institutions in connection with a variety of real estate-secured loan transactions throughout the United States.
Mr. Gill received his B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 1978. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Georgia in 1981. Mr. Gill is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers; he is also active in a variety of civic, charitable and religious causes.
