Eric H. Mandus

Eric H. Mandus is a partner in the Corporate Section of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.

Mr. Mandus has a general corporate law practice in which he represents and advises a wide variety of clients on matters pertaining to their businesses. He is often consulted with regard to the organization and formation of business entities and the negotiation and preparation of agreements and contracts relating to those businesses, including shareholder agreements, debt and equity financing arrangements, employment and restrictive covenant agreements, distribution and supply agreements, toll and contract manufacturing agreements and license agreements involving all forms of intellectual property. Mr. Mandus also has an active practice in business acquisition and divestiture transactions and has substantial experience in the representation of commercial landlords and tenants, including matters relating to the operation and management of commercial properties and the negotiation of leases involving office, retail, industrial and mixed use projects.

Originally from Merritt Island, Florida, Mr. Mandus received a B.A. in economics from Denison University in 1982. He received a J.D., with distinction, in 1985 from Emory University, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Business Associations and Constitutional Law.

Mr. Mandus was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker before joining Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP in 1986.

Mr. Mandus is admitted to practice in Georgia.
