Edward C. Konieczny
Edward C. Konieczny is Counsel in the Litigation Section of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
Mr. Konieczny has 20 years of complex litigation and law firm management experience in large, medium and small firm settings, in both plaintiffs’ and defense firms. From 1999 to 2006, he served as managing partner of a large, national mass tort and class action plaintiffs’ firm. Mr. Konieczny concentrates his practice in complex commercial and multi-district litigation.
He received his bachelors degree in Political Science from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude in 1985 and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 1988, he received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard University.
Mr. Konieczny is an active member of the Atlanta Bar Association, where he is Founder and Chairman of the Managing Partners Committee. He also serves on the Executive Committees of the St. Thomas More Society and the Lamar Inn of Court.
He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in both Pennsylvania and Georgia.
