Davené D. Walker

Davené Walker is an associate in the Zoning, Planning and Land Use Practice Group of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.

Ms. Walker represents clients in all stages of applications for rezoning, use permits and variances. Ms. Walker also has experience in business litigation and products liability litigation.

Prior to joining Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, Ms. Walker served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Clarence Cooper of the United States District Court in the Northern District of Georgia. She is currently on the Executive Board of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and a member of the Atlanta Bar Association.

Ms. Walker received her Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, in Communication Studies and Afro-American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia, where she served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and was a member of the Moot Court.

Ms. Walker is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
