David W. Santi

David W. Santi is a partner and heads the Firm’s Tax Section.

His principal practice areas are partnership tax, international tax, mergers and acquisitions and general business taxation.

In 1971, Mr. Santi received a B.S. degree in accounting from Lipscomb University. He earned a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Georgia in 1973 and spent two years as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte & Touche before entering Emory University Law School. Mr. Santi received his J.D. degree in 1978 from Emory where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Emory Law Journal.

Mr. Santi is a frequent speaker at continuing education programs for lawyers and CPAs. He is a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, the Fiduciary Section of the Georgia State Bar, the International Fiscal Association, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In 2008, Mr. Santi was recognized as one of Georgia’s “Elite Lawyers” by Georgia Trend magazine.
