Colin A. Thakkar

Colin A. Thakkar is an associate in the Litigation Section of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.

Mr. Thakkar’s practice area includes employment and labor litigation.

Mr. Thakkar received his B.A. degree in Psychology from Denison University in 2000 where he was a member of the Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society. He earned his J.D. degree from the College of William and Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2003 where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta and received honors in legal research, writing and trial advocacy.

Mr. Thakkar is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals Fourth Circuit, U.S. District Court Central District of Illinois, U.S. District Court Western District of Texas, U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida, U.S. District Court Northern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Thakkar is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Jacksonville Bar Young Lawyers Association. He also serves as the President of the Denison University North Florida Alumni Club, and he is a member of Rotaract of Florida’s First Coast.
