His practice includes the representation of creditors and other parties in connection with troubled loans, new financings and, in general, a variety of other types of commercial transactions as well as the representation of debtors in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court workouts.
Mr. Hall served as bankruptcy counsel to the debtor in In re Aerovias Nacionales de Colombia S.A. Avianca, a Chapter 11 case in the Southern District of New York concerning a Colombian airline in which the debtor’s plan of reorganization was confirmed and became effective without the necessity of a parallel proceeding in the jurisdiction of the airline’s domicile. In addition, Mr. Hall has served as bankruptcy counsel to Flooring America, Skybus Airlines, SunCountry Airlines and Value Music Concepts Inc. Mr. Hall has represented both buyers and sellers in numerous sale transactions under Section 363 of the bankruptcy code.
Representing secured and unsecured lenders and agents for syndicated lenders, Mr. Hall handles all legal aspects of revolving lines of credit, equipment and other term loans and syndicated loans. Mr. Hall has represented Wachovia Bank (now known as Wells Fargo), Bank of North Georgia and a number of other lending institutions in loan transactions, workouts and bankruptcies.
Mr. Hall received his B.S. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1988. In 1995, he received a J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia. Mr. Hall is admitted to practice in Georgia and Florida.
