His practice concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance issues, emerging businesses and corporate finance, as well as information technology. Mr. Buss practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for a number of years prior to attending law school. This expertise in business and finance provides the broad background necessary to manage the broad array of issues encountered in a transactional practice.
Mr. Buss has handled numerous merger and acquisition transactions in a wide range of industries including oil and gas pipelines, alternative energy, construction, security and information technology, insurance and medical industries.
A native of New York, Mr. Buss received his B.A. in Business Administration from Arizona State University and graduated with honors from the University of Florida School of Law, where he was a member of the University of Florida Law Review. Mr. Buss is also a member of the University of Florida order of the Coif and the Florida Bar.
